When I moved from a career as an Executive Assistant to freelancing, something became very clear.
Most VA work rewards being available and reactive more than it rewards how capable you are.
You stay busy. You stay responsive. You take on more and more… and somehow, the rate doesn’t really move with you.
I watched VAs who were genuinely brilliant — organized, proactive, the kind of person a business actually couldn’t run without — still charging $20/hr and quietly wondering if this was just the ceiling.
Meanwhile their clients were overwhelmed, dropping balls, and desperate for someone who could step in and take over the day-to-day.

I noticed a recurring pattern.
That gap is where so many VAs get stuck.
Not because they’re not good — but because the way this work gets taught stops at execution.
Here’s what to do, how to do it, tools to use. So you show up ready to help, wait for direction, and do great work.
But nobody told you there was a different, higher-value way to show up entirely.
A different way of working
I built EA Kickstart for VAs who are done being the person who just “gets things done,” and want to step into work that feels more respected, more steady, and more fairly paid for what they bring to the table.
Behind the work
My “why” has always been simple: I want work that fuels my life, not consumes it.
I built this because I know it’s possible to do meaningful, high-paid work you love and still be the person who shows up for the stuff that matters most at home.
And I want that for you, too.
When I’m not working, I’m in full-on mom/wife mode and probably solving the ongoing mystery of where I left my coffee. Answer: usually the microwave (hours ago).

For VAs who know they’re capable of more.
Ready to be trusted, relied on, and paid at a higher level?
